Running Towards Life

Romans 8:11: If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Let's pray. Dear God, thank You for the Holy Spirit. Jesus, thank You for giving to us the life of grace and forgiveness. Holy Spirit, lead us in our run to eternal life. We pray this in Jesus' name. And all God's children say...

The Spirit of God is a powerful person. He is God, the third person alongside the Son, Jesus, and the Father. He is our motivator, our strength, and our encouragement. He is the one who constantly reminds us of our sins AS WELL AS reminding us of Jesus and His life giving life. The Spirit of God dwells in us. He keeps our feet moving in life today toward eternal life with Him, the Father, and Jesus.

If the Spirit of God is in you, He will do for you as He promised. He will give us eternal life. And the Spirit of God IS IN YOU when you believe. When you believe in the salvation that God gave to you in Jesus and the new life that He gave to you, the Spirit of God is leading you to run. Run with the prize that God gave to you. The Spirit of God is giving you energy, strength, fortitude, and love that will get you to eternal life. He is feeding you with the Word of God. It is your energy source to run the marathon of life to eternal life. Let's run.
