is a line in a wonderful hymn titled, "What a Friend we Have in Jesus." This line reminds us that whatever we are experiencing, whether good, bad, or ugly, we can take to God.
What is Prayer?
Prayer, simply put, is the words that we use to "talk with God." Prayer is sharing all and speaking everything to God. There is nothing that God doesn't know. And God wants us to speak our minds, hearts, and lives with Him.

Dear God, lead us by The Holy Spirit, to tell You everything. Free us from barriers, fears, worries, and burdens that inhibit our desire to talk with You. You listen. We tell. You answer. We ask. You hold us in Your hands to bring us comfort, healing, and peace. We scream, complain, and plead for Your mercy. Lead us. Teach us. Help us. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
