We are a Bible-based church. We believe the Holy Spirit has inspired men to write the Bible. Thereby, the Bible is inerrant.
Our worship service is centered on the Word of God. From the Word of God, we know of His sacraments. We celebrate two sacraments: Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
We believe that Holy Baptism is the forgiveness of sins as we are washed clean in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
It is washing of rebirth and renewal as stated in Titus 3:5
"he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit"

We believe that Holy Communion is the gift of Jesus' body and blood for the forgiveness of our sins as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and Paul's letter to the Corinthians.
At Faith, our communion practice is adapted from Luther's Small Catechism
We examine ourselves before receiving Holy Communion to see whether
1. We are sorry for our sins: Psalm 38:18 I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.
2. We believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. We trust in His words of the Sacrament: Luke 22:19-20 "This is my body given for you. This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you"
3. We plan, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to change our sinful lives: Ephesians 4:22-24 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
In summary, every time I take Holy Communion, I need to ask myself three questions:
1. Do I need the forgiveness that Jesus is offering?
2. Do I believe that Jesus' body and blood are present in the bread and wine?
3. Will I plan to live a new life with God's help?
If I can answer "yes" to these, I will receive Holy Communion in the manner in which Jesus meant.
